Over 100 years ago my Great Grandfather, John Wilcox, owned the ‘Four Winds’ house affectionately known as the Gerrish house located at 123 Main St. Lubec and sold herring out of the barn that once stood there.

In his youth my father, Irving Wilcox, would spend his summers here in Lubec with his Grandparents and was put to work spraying the fields for mosquitoes known as “The Mosquito Squads”.

So after owning and operating my T-Shirt business in Wells Beach, Maine for over 40 years, it was time for a change. So it is with great pride that I too have now joined the Lubec community by moving my business here and calling it The Lubec T-Shirt Company located at 123 Main St.

I am open seasonally April-October and available by appointment November-March.
